VIPs get all the bandwidth & attention in Indian temples. How is Protocol applicable in temples?
VIPs are really Very Ignorant People since they feel that they have earned a right to be important before GOD over common man.
The power granted to them by constitution accords them protocol in almost all avenues under constitution. Hindu temples were not set up by constitution. They existed eons before the British came. Only the king of the land has Protocol from thousands of years, not all Bureaucracy, all legislature&all judiciary, all secretariats-state& national as has been created since independence.
In temple of GOD, they are equal with all & do not have any higher status. Without realizing this basic truth,govt leaders inconvenience common man with Protocol Darshan. Be it Tirupati or Indrakeeladri, it is the common man who is stopped during VIP Break darshans. It simply says that u either have to be a rich person rich enough to be VIP to be one step closer to god than the common man. The God which accepts such divisions is waiting for someone to question them. Last time it took a Buddha to question these practices. It might be Kalki now.
