Durga temple got disciplined under Suryakumari. Suryakumari unnecessarily took risks under pressure and lost goodwill of people forever. She will never reveal who asked her to do the pujas and her reputation will never recover till she does that.
Koteswaramma, the current EO is making changes like Suryakumari but sooner or later, her ideas will conflict with the board which is where Suryakumari also faced conflicts. She will also find resistance from the engineers, vendors and archakas who have been in the temple for decades.
If she overcomes all these, am sure she will reform the temple administration. All the best to her. Her decision during Dusshera denying VIPs access was well appreciated by Society.
