Employees Excess at Durga Temple

UPDATED:2018-10-12

300 rs ticket people are dumped into ordinary line where free darshan people occupy all the way till top. The Author was stopped by police and pushed into this line despite having 300 rs ticket. Several people happily walked in.

Near the parking at top, several people got down from cars and buses, took 300 rs ticket and walked into VIP line. Even at that time, the author asked Police but they said the author has to walk in the free line only. It took author almost 1.30 hr to reach near the VIP entrance queue. After that, a friendly policeman allowed entry for all having 300 rs ticket. Author found that there were many like him who came all the way from bottom in line but the car and bus guys didnt have to do that. Worst is police discrimination of people. The Author feels he should have taken video and posted on Youtube to convey the police discrimination. This discrimination by police is not fair.

Many others happily take the lift for 300 rs ticket. Author was denied that way. After Darshan, author came back and in way on ghat road, prasad was being sold but there was no pulihora. To take that, author comes down and tries to go to prasad counter but police again dont allow. Author told police that there is no pulihara at top, but police says go up and come down. no other way. So author left without Prasad. This kind of discriminating behaviour was never seen in earlier Dussheras.

People will walk up the mountain without complaint if police clear those lines of free people but they will not do that and hence separate line for all car guys. After all this, when author reaches near temple, then again the VIP GROUPS block passage. They throng the 300 rs lines. Hence all in all, there is no fair line in Durga Dusshera Festival.
