Despite the war cry being given by PM Modi, not much has changed in India. The Funds which are being sanctioned under skills development are going to political families owned skill development centres who care a damn about placements.
Some companies have thousand of branches and are owned by sons of ministers at state and central level. The actual beneficiary does not get anything yet again. The results of placements are not great in sectors ranging from retail to IT.
Training companies are grabbing funds from government but are caring little to train professionals with quality inputs to produce quality outputs. The result is that despite completing these trainings, they are no good than what they were earlier. The trainers are fresh trainees from same centers.
These types of centers are mushrooming across country once again proving that politicians close any opportunity in govt incentives to their own companies only.
The startup incentives are being denied to honest entrepreneurs who are creating jobs without depending on govt.subsidies.
