In its fight against casteism, progressive India is making some bold steps.
Nellore Talpagiri RanganadhaSwamy Temple witnessed one such event recently. The temple wanted to break down caste barriers and wanted to bring Dalits into the main stream under the guidance of Head Priest of Chilukuru Balaji temple, Sri CS Rangarajan.
On Thursday, the Temple Chief Priest, Sri Kidambi Jagannadhacharyulu conducted Muni Vahanostav. He lifted a Dalit from Ravuru Dalitawada and took him till Dwaja Stamba and from there, took the Dalit inside and made him do Darshan and Special Poojas.
Speaking on the Occasion, Sri Rangarajan said the purpose of the event was to make Dalits enter temples. He hoped that this program shall be followed across the nation. He thanked the AP Govt for providing such an opportunity to him. AP Tabloid do wishes Sri Rangarajan the best in his divined purpose and are sure that he will render the same through the country.
